Welcome, Gents.
First off, thank you for taking an interest in The Art Of Bro. We’re stoked to have you. We’re excited to see how you’ll be part of growing this online worldwide fraternity.
Why The Art Of Bro?
I was 27 years old. I was reminiscing over the friendships I had made in all the different brotherhoods I had been a part of.
Through family, sports teams, my college fraternity, and serving in the U.S. Army, I’ve been privileged to be surrounded by some of the greatest dudes in the world, even if that’s only in my own opinion.
I realized that in almost every event in my life, at least one of the guys from one of those brotherhoods was there to experience it with me. They made whatever was happening more than just a moment in time and instead made it a memory.
When I’ve had to go on my own, as life is adept at forcing a guy to do, one of them was always there to hear my stories and give their own, often comical, occasionally useful, response/analysis.
I also realized that not everybody has gotten as lucky in this facet of life as I have. My hope is to change that by creating something of an online fraternity here.
What Is The Art of Bro?
The Art of Bro is a place where we can share the male experience as we each live it. We’ll explore the topics that are relevant to life as a guy, based around digestible articles (aiming for 10 minute or less read times, comments not included).
Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Brolosophy (I swear it’s not bro science)
- Bro Science (it’s gonna happen and it’s usually funny/useful so why fight it)
- Sports/Entertainment (Recommendations and examples of being a dude)
- Dating (funny stories, great plays, wingman of the month awards, etc.)
- Health/Fitness (limited bro science)
- Advice (Post a question to the fellas and see what they can come up with)
The goal is to make this feel as though you’re shooting the shit with your buddies over a couple beers. However, just like a real life sesh with the boys, we’ll get in to some deeper topics as well.
So, grab a cold one, take a seat, and dive in.
Cheers!
